William F. Clinton of Philadelphia and Meadowbrook, Pa., passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026. He is survived by his sons, William Jr.and Robert (Young-Yi, née Kwon); his daughter, Dorothy; his grandchildren, Brett and Jack; and his sister, Kathleen Quinn. Bill was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy (née Shaw); his grandson, Brian Clinton; his brother, Henry (Hank) Clinton; and his sisters, Elizabeth (Betty) Tonkinson and Mary Kothstein.Bill was born on August 25, 1940, in the Grays Ferry neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Bishop Neumann High School in 1958. He served his country for eight years in the United States Navy, four on active duty and four in the active reserves, rising to the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Bill earned his degree from Saint Joseph's University in 1976, graduating magna cum laude. He spent 25 years with AT&T before finishing his career at Comcast. In retirement, Bill took up golf and cycling with equal enthusiasm, marking his 70th birthday with a 70-mile bike ride. He spent many happy days with family and friends at his home in North Wildwood. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass, at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 1500 Marian Rd, Abington PA where family will receive visitors from until Mass time.  In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory to St. Gabriel Parish 2917 Dickinson St. Philadelphia, PA 19146 would be appreciated by the family.
