Walter L. Kerner, a long-time resident of Hatboro, PA passed peacefully at the age of 87. Walter was born in Philadelphia to the late Charles E. and Anna (O'Brien) Kerner and was a graduate of Frankford High School. After high school he attended St. Joseph's University where he earned a BA in economics. He then went on to have a long career with Mellon Bank working as a Real Estate Trust Officer. A true family man, Walter loved to travel, especially to Cape May. Later in life he took up oil painting and became a proficient artist.

He was the beloved wife of Eleanor (nee Griffin) Kerner and loving father of Jennifer Kerner Peters. He was a twin brother to Robert T. Kerner and brother of Anne K. Rooney and the late Charles E. and Ewald. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Tuesday March 31, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. St. Catherine of Siena Church 321 Witmer Rd. Horsham where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am.
