Robert V. Suskie passed away peacefully on Christmas day, December 25, 2023, at his home in Roslyn, PA, at the age of 85, surrounded by his family. Robert was born in Shenandoah, PA, to the late Frank and Pauline (nee Rutkowski) Suskie before moving to Roslyn, where he lived for 62 years. He is the beloved husband of Elaine M. (nee Carmody) Suskie and the loving father of Theresa Dominic (Jim), Robert V. Jr. (Lynn), Frank (Linda), and John Suskie (Jennifer). He is Pop Pop to Kiersten, Jimmy, Bobby, Taylor, Jenna, Melanie, Brianna, and Nick. He is the great-grandfather, aka Great Pop, of Vincent, Cooper, and Reid.

Robert served in the United States Marine Corps before enlisting in the US Air Force, where he served for 4 years. He was a member of the Abington Choral Club, St. John of the Cross, and Immaculate Conception Church Choirs. He loved to sing, especially at family weddings. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 10:30 am at Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Ave., Ardsley, PA. There will be a public viewing in the Church from 9:30 am until Mass time.

The interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
