Peter D. Cripps, of Willow Grove, PA passed away at home at the age of 58. Pete was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Donald and Shirley (nee Brukardt) Cripps of Princeton, NJ. He graduated from West Windsor Plainsboro High School in 1982. He then attended Lehigh University, graduating magna cum laude with a B.S. degree in 1986 before earning his J.D. law degree with high honors from the University of Chicago Law School in 1990. While there, he served on the University of Chicago Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Pete worked as a CPA at Arthur Anderson before starting his law career at Dechert Price and Rhoads where he served from 1990 until 2006. He was currently the Chair of Mergers and Acquisitions and Securities at Spector Gadon Rosen Vinci P.C.

An avid sports fan, Pete was a dedicated volunteer as a youth coach for Upper Moreland Township for many years coaching soccer and baseball. He was a great fan of the Green Bay Packers and maintained a large baseball card collection in addition to being a history buff, especially World War II.

In addition to his parents, Pete is the husband of Sue (nee Bove) Cripps and loving father of Danny and Nicole Cripps, and has a brother Michael.

Relatives and friends are invited to call to greet the family on Tuesday January 10th from 6 to 8 pm at FitzPatrick Funeral Home 1500 Old York Rd. Abington. Memorial services will be at 8:00 pm.
