MONAGHAN, Patricia, (nee Marcheret) of Rydal, PA, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2022 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Francis R. Monaghan, married for 71 years, she is the loving mother of Timothy P., Francis X., and Thomas M. Monaghan. She is the grandmother of Patricia Salom, Christopher and Patrick Monaghan, and Thomas M. Monaghan, Jr.. Patricia Alice (Pat) Monaghan was born on March 28, 1929 at the beginning of the great depression. She was the second oldest of 8 children, started working when she was 5 years old as a model, and her earnings were key to the support of that large family. She continued in modeling into her thirties, and thereafter worked behind the scenes in the fashion industry in Manhattan. In 1968 Pat and family moved to the Philadelphia area and she began working in real estate from 1968 to 2012, (as broker, with various certifications, e.g., ABR, CBS, GRI). Pat entered real estate when it was predominantly a male dominated field, and won salesman of the year soon thereafter. Then went on to win numerous Top Producer Awards in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania during her career. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass Wednesday, January 4th at 10:00 am at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 1500 Marian Rd. Abington, PA 19001 where the family will receive guests from 9:00 am until Mass time. Int. St. John Neumann Cemetery.
