Chevy has officially gone to scout out the best bar in the afterlife. We assume he's already claimed the best seat.

Beloved baby brother to Larry (Pat) and Sandy Barth. Endlessly entertaining uncle and professional instigator to Lauren, Kara, Nicole, Paul, Dana and Jackie. A role he took seriously mostly when it came to corrupting their innocence.

Preceded in death by his parents Carmen (Cheech) and Philomena, Duncan and Nick's Roast Beef.

Chevy lived loud. He loved hard. He argued passionately. He laughed even louder. He was unapologetically himself. He treated Key West like his second home (he got local prices, ya know) and Philly sports like sacred scripture.

If he roasted you, you mattered.

If he argued with you, he liked you.

If he called you a jackass, you were family.

He didn't whisper. He didn't do subtle. And he definitely wouldn't want anyone sitting quietly in black crying.

So here's the deal:

Come raise a glass and tell your best Chevy stories- Saturday 2/28 from 2-6pm at VFW Post 2819, 6850 Martins Mill Rd, Phila PA 19111

Come casual. Laugh too loud. Stay too long. That's the only send-off he'd accept.
