Meg Judson passed away peacefully after a six year battle with ALS. She grew up in Abington, attended Our Lady Help of Christians and graduated from Abington High School (86) where she made lifelong friends.

After graduating from East Stroudsburg University, where she did some study abroad in Japan, she went on to earn her Masters in Health Services Administration from University of St. Francis. Meg had a successful career as a healthcare marketing professional with 25+ years in post acute, sub acute, skilled rehabilitation and long-term healthcare and CCRCs.

Megan served as the Communications Liaison on the Executive Committee at Germantown Academy. She was a member of Wissahickon Valley Auxiliary at Abington Memorial Hospital. She was also a member of Sunnybrook Golf Club and Wings Field Country Club where she enjoyed golf, swimming and especially spending time with friends.

Family was the most important thing for Meg. She loved being a wife and mother. She was married to her husband Art for almost 21 years, who was her constant rock throughout her journey with ALS. She adored her son AJ and was so proud to see him graduate from Germantown Academy. Although the youngest of seven children, Meg always made family a priority by bringing everyone together. She is survived by her siblings; Susan M.Cyliax, Geary G. FitzPatrick, Amy Loughlin, Stephen R. FitzPatrick and was predeceased by her sister Karen Polise.

Meg really enjoyed life. She loved gathering with friends and always made a splash with her colorful and jazzy fashion statements. Meg loved to travel any chance she got. With her mother before she got married, with her siblings and with Art and AJ to France, England even a trip to Ireland while confined to a wheelchair due to ALS. She was a real trooper.

Meg had a generous spirit and was always thinking of others, always being there for her friends and family with a gift, smile or small gesture that would bring a smile to their day. Art would like to thank family members, friends and caregivers who supported and helped Meg on her journey with ALS. It truly made a difference.

We are asking people who attend her service to wear a splash of color or something fun or jazzy in honor of Meg.
