Mary A. Townsend, a longtime resident of Roslyn, PA and Ocean City, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 82. Born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph and Margaret (nee Mulhern) Brennan, she was a proud 1961 graduate of Little Flower High School. She worked as an Office Manager at the Personal Touch Company in Jenkintown for 21 years. Mary also enjoyed all different types of crafting, often giving her creations as gifts to her loved ones. She loved spending time down the shore in Ocean City.

She was the beloved wife for 58 years of John R. "Jack" Townsend and the loving mother of John (Megan), Barbara Roddy (John) and Patrice DiTullio (Lou). Devoted Grandmother ("Momooch") of Aimee and Adam Townsend, Kyle and Kristen Roddy, and Michael and Andrew DiTullio and preceded in death by Danielle DiTullio. She is also survived by her lifelong friends, Ronnie McIntyre, Elaine Suskie, and Betty Fagan, who she cherished as sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass Monday July 14, 2025, 11:00 am at St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 2316 Fairhill Ave. Glenside, PA. Family will receive guests from 9:30 until 11 am. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Abington Hospital -- Abington Health Foundation/Andrew Tesauro Special Care Nursery Development Fund, PO Box 3, Abington, PA 19001.
