Maryjo Collins, a longtime resident of Abington passed away peacefully at her home on May 24, 2026 the age of 92. Maryjo was born in Elkins Park, PA to the late Deions and Helen (nee Maneval) Freidmann. She was the wife of the late Charles I. Collins and loving mother of Stephen, Larry and Stan Collins. She was the grandmother of Zach, Dillon and Jack Collins.

Maryjo's life was about giving back. She was Foster parent with Children's Aid Society of Montgomery County for 25 years. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels of Abington for 38 years. She was also a member of the Town Watch and Toe Tappers. Maryjo loved her family and friends, the Philadelphia Phillies, her cat and coffee. She was never on to show off or look for rewards or praise. The work itself was her reward.

Relatives and friends are invited to her graveside service Wednesday June 3, 2026, 11:00 am at Hillside Cemetery 2556 Susquehanna Rd. Roslyn, PA.
