(Marguerite) Jean Kilgannon (nee Moffett) born July 30, 1930 of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.  Born and raised in Schenectady, New York, the daughter of the late Mary and Thomas Moffett.  Predeceased by Timothy, her husband of fifty years.  Also predeceased by her brother Tom. She is the loving mother of Timothy J., Jr. and John C. (Hope) Kilgannon, she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.  She took additional courses at NYU and "lit" courses at Penn State Ogontz.   1955, she and a friend drove across the country visiting college friends who had moved west.  In 1957, she and a college classmate took a two month tour of Europe.

She was a teacher in Glen Falls, New York and subsequently worked for General Electric Knolls Atomic Power Lab and later for the Atomic Energy Commission in New York where she was a contract administrator. In later years she worked for B. Altmans and a law office.

She was a long time parishioner or Our Lady Help of Christians where she taught religious education and was a member of the choir.  We are thankful to her neighbors Cathy Matricarde, Ginny Atlee and the DeMarshall family for their help over the years.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on the family Saturday 9:00 am at Our Lady Help of Christians church, 1500 Marian Rd. Abington where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am.
