Margaret was born of Vincent Catalano and Margaret Fittipaldi 8/5/26 in Floral Park New York. She grew

up on Long Island, Brewster NY and briefly in Chicago before the family moved to Philadelphia. She

graduated Frankford High School in Philadelphia at age 16. She briefly attended Temple University and

worked for the Milk Marketing Board in Philadelphia. She always loved music. She was a member of the

Matinee Musical club and was an accomplished violinist. She was first chair with the Olney symphony

and only quit after she married Joseph St.George.

She was widowed in 1975 and maintained the Baederwood Pharmacy in Jenkintown, PA established by

Joseph in 1966 until its sale several years after his untimely death. She then took up a career in

cosmetics including training in skin esthetics. She started in cosmetics sales at Wanamaker's Jenkintown

branch and becoming counter manager for Estee Lauder when the store opened a branch in North

Wales. She loved Wanamaker's and Estee Lauder. She stayed with the store through its many changes

ultimately moving to Macy's also in the Montgomery Mall. She continued to work there for Estee Lauder

until the age of 92. She was a wonderful example of the Estee Lauder products.

She is survived by her daughter Carol L. St.George, DO of York PA, her dear longtime friend and care

giver Jeannie Selig, and cousins and godchildren.
