Margaret "Peggy" Winters passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024, surrounded by family at her residence in Warrington, PA. She was 86 years old.

Peggy was preceded in death by the love of her life, Gene Winters. She is survived by her children Monica (Joe) Polo, Nadine (Angelo) McLaughlin, Gene (Lisa) Winters and Tim (Patricia) Winters as well as her grandchildren Alexis, Anthony, Melanie, Ryan, Brendan, Riley, Hannah, Maeve and Aidan and many nieces and nephews.

Born April 21, 1938, in South Philadelphia, Peggy was the daughter of the late Margaret (nee Mullin) and Felix "Joe" Carr and was the youngest of five children. When the family moved to the Torresdale section of Philadelphia, Peggy attended St. Huberts High School where she was Valedictorian and Class President. Peggy met her future husband, Gene, in Wildwood NJ in 1960. They married in February 1963 while Gene was serving in the Army.

Peggy was a stay-at-home mom while the kids were young and gave them a magical childhood. She was a tremendous mother who loved and cared for her family beyond measure. She was always smiling and welcoming, and created a house full of music, laughter and fun. The house was always full of friends and family who would stop by Gene and Peg's house in Abington for a drink and some laughs.

We will miss her dearly but are grateful she is reunited with Dad.

Friends and family are invited to her viewing on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 9:30 am until 10:45 at Queen of Peace Church 820 North Hills Ave. Ardsley, PA where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Private interment at a later date.
