Joseph Ernest Kenas, "Joe", of Meadowbrook, PA passed away March 13th, 2026 at the age of 69. Born in Abington to the late Ernest and Bertha (née Latzko) Kenas, he was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Kenas and loving father of Michael (Katie), Andrew (Courtney Bark) and Stephen (Casey) Kenas. He was also a proud grandfather of five grandchildren. Joe was an extraordinarily kind, generous, and patient man. He had a warmth about him and a happiness that made everyone feel welcome. He was a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, and caring brother. Joe loved being outdoors. He was an avid bicyclist and skier, and some of his happiest moments were spent riding, skiing, and spending summers at the lake cabin where his dad raised him, he raised his sons, and his grandkids now enjoy too. He was the leader of our family, showing us every day what it means to live with kindness, love, selflessness, and presence. To us, he was more than a father. He was a best friend who was always there, through our highs and lows, no matter the circumstances. That kind of love is a gift we will carry with us forever. We love you dad. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 1500 Marian Rd., Abington, Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am until 9:45 am where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park and will be followed by a luncheon at Angelo's Italian Kitchen, 1144 Horsham Rd.
