John "Doc" Dougherty, 61, passed away suddenly on April 15th, 2025. A proud graduate of Abington High School, John went on to own Doc's Deli and then to build a dedicated career with Konica Minolta Business Solutions, where he was respected by colleagues and clients alike for his professionalism and warm demeanor.

Outside of work, John found joy in the simple things—especially a good game of cards and a cold Diet Coke in hand. He never missed a swim meet or sports event, always cheering from the sidelines with unwavering pride and support for his children. His quick wit, easy laugh, and competitive spirit made him the life of any gathering.

John is the beloved son of Patricia (nee Gilmore) and the late John E. Dougherty. He is the loving father of Kelly Anderson (Jordan), Casey Reilly (Sean), Megan Kobierowski (Ryan), Aiden Dougherty, Ava Dougherty and step father of Vincent Senick (Dori). Brother of Joseph Dougherty, Maria Marcato and Kathleen Dougherty. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

John's life was one of quiet strength, loyalty, and love for those close to him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and would be appreciated by the family.
