Joan C. Sadowl (nee McAllister) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June, 2, 2023 at the age of 92. Joan was born April 30, 1931 in Atlantic City. She was a resident of Rydal Park for 8 years and previously a long-time resident of Huntingdon Valley. She worked as an X-ray technician at Shore memorial Hospital before marring and starting a family.

Joan was the beloved wife of the late Harry W. Sadowl and loving mother of Kathleen Walker, Karen Coan (Richard), Harry (Terri) and Robert Sadowl (Lisa). Grandmother of 12, and great grandmother of 16, she was the sister to the late Robert McAllister.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she worked as a secretary for the Drever Company in Lower Moreland for many years. After retirement she and her husband enjoyed traveling together.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday June 8th at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 1500 Marian Rd. Abington at 9:30 where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory to the Dementia Society of America at the web site listed below would be appreciated by the family.
