With overwhelming sadness, we announce the passing of Jacinta Maria "Jazz" Coyle, who left us unexpectedly on December 7, 2025, at the age of 49. Born during the nation's bicentennial, Jacinta was a true Philadelphia daughter through and through—raised with unmistakable Philly spirit and pride. She loved her hometown sports teams, especially the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers, and she cherished the tradition of attending both the Mummers Parade on New Year's Day and the St. Patrick's Day Parade for many years.

In the summertime, Jacinta looked forward to the weekly Pennypack concerts, where music—always the soundtrack of her life—filled her soul. She loved to dance, to sing, and to celebrate every moment, and she never missed an opportunity to celebrate a holiday or special event. To Jacinta, every song was her favorite song, and every gathering was an opportunity to bring joy, laughter, and energy to those around her.

Jacinta's warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. She had a genuine, authentic spirit—nothing about her was ever fake—and her compassion was the foundation of her interactions with people of all ages and all walks of life. She possessed extraordinary gifts of patience, understanding, and acceptance, and those she called friends were fortunate beyond measure. Meeting her left a lasting impression; being loved by her was a blessing.

She was always ready with a compliment, whether seeing you for the first time or the hundredth. There was a natural brightness and joyfulness about her—she truly enjoyed life every single day. She loved vacations at the Pennsylvania cabins and the Jersey Shore, creating memories her family will forever hold close.

Jacinta was a caregiver both by profession and by nature. She always found herself helping those in need—caring for sick friends, helping the homeless, supporting loved ones, and working with children, a role she took great pride in and deeply enjoyed. Her generosity and empathy were limitless, and her impact will live on in the countless lives she touched.

She is deeply loved and will be forever missed by her mother, Victoria C. Coyle; her brother, John N. Coyle; her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Kate and Geoff Devlin; her niece, Katelynn Hendricks-Coyle; her nephew, Cayden J. Devlin; and her boyfriend, Hugh Howard, with whom she shared a close and meaningful bond. She is preceded in death by her father, James T. Coyle, and her beloved daughter, Maria Angela Coyle. It will be hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember. She will remain always in our hearts.

In honor of Jacinta's favorite color, the family kindly asks guests to wear something purple as we gather to reflect on her light, her laughter, and the love she shared so generously.
