Harry Schmoltze, age 69, passed away peacefully on January 10th 2026 after a courageous battle with lung disease. He was a skilled Carpenter, a devoted family man, and a friend to many.
For decades, Harry shared his talent with others, helping people bring their construction dreams to life. He wasnt just a craftsman, he was a teacher, always willing to lend a hand, offer advice and pass along his knowledge to anyone eager to learn. For many years he worked along side his father, brothers, sisters, grandfather, son cousins, father in law, and brothers in law. His work lives on in the homes, projects and memories he helped build.
Known for his great sense of humor, Harry could light up a room with his laughter and stories. He had a big generous heart and was always willing to help someone in need.
In his younger years, Harry lived life to the fullest and was known as the life of the party. But as time went on he found his true calling in family, love and responsibility.
Above all else, Harry was a good man. His kindness, humor and generosity will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Harry was predeceased by his mother and father Gene and Eileen Schmoltze, his brother Gene Schmoltze and sister Danielle Schmoltze.
He is survived by his son Will Kemp, his wife Kim and granddaughter Mallie. His sister Diana Fox and husband Bob. His sister Stephanie Nelson. Also many cousins, and neices and nephews whom he treasured, along with many friends who were blessed to know him.
