Germaine Messa Pearlberg, age 97, passed away peacefully on April 26th surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Philadelphia to Elizabeth and Armand Grison on December 5th, 1928, she graduated from Little Flower High School in 1946 and worked at the Frankford Arsenal as a secretary during WWII. She married Leon A. Messa on 9/8/1950.

She was known for her quick humor and remarkable attention to detail—qualities that made her incredibly effective and valued for her work as an Executive Assistant.

Germaine had a deep love for her family, the beach, and her cherished four-legged companions. She also had a lifelong passion for music and the arts. She especially loved attending opera and orchestra concerts.

Several years after Leon's passing in 1992, she married Henry Pearlberg, with whom she shared 16 years of companionship and four step-children: Joe, MaryBeth, Henry Jr., and AnnMarie.

Germaine is survived by her four children Joanne, Lee Ann (Phil), Jacqueline
(John) and Janine (Bill) and her five grandchildren: Charles Alexander, Julia, Olivia, Seth, and Ben.

Services for Germaine will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 611 Knowles Avenue, Southampton, Pa. 18966 on Friday, May 22nd. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a Catholic Mass at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Germaine's memory may be made to the arts or to an animal rescue organization of one's choosing.
