Donald P. Sanford (Donnie), of Trevose, PA, passed away on Monday January 27, 2025, at the age of 68. Donnie was a strong and resilient individual, fighting through various ailments for many years with determination. Unfortunately, it was a combination of love and a broken heart that took Donnie as the love of his life of 44 years (Liz) passed just four months prior.

Donnie was generous, selfless and no matter what issues he was dealing with he would always greet you with a smile and a laugh.

Donnie was a big fan and strongly supported all Philly sports. May he push the Eagles across the goal line for a Superbowl title.

Donnie was also a big fan of all types of entertainment. Music was his biggest joy, mainly Grateful Dead and all classic rock and roll.

Donnie is survived by his siblings: Dave Sanford (Sherry), Vincent Cosenza (Myra), Gina Cosenza and Lisa Cosenza. He was predeceased by his wife Mary (Liz), his mother Margaret (Rose) Cosenza, his father Donald Sanford, stepfather Pete Cosenza, Sister Helene Sanford, brothers Guy and Robert Sanford.

Memorial Services will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church on Monday February 10, 2025. Visitation will be from 10 am to 11 am followed by Funeral Mass at 11 am. Interment will be private.
