David Thomsen Reeves of Doylestown, formerly of Hatboro passed away July7, 2024 at the age of 90. He was the beloved husband of thhe late Ruth (nee Muggleworth) Reeves who passed away in 2020. Born in Abington, David was the son of the late George J. and Lillie H. (nee Thomsen) Reeves. He joined the Air Force in 1951 serving for 4 years. After the Service he worked at Boeing Corp. in Seattle, WA before he began a long career as a surveyor for Charles Shoemaker Land Surveyors in Abington. Not surprisingly he had a lifetime interest in airplanes and model airplanes. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife and camping in State forests.

He is the loving father of Barbara Bernert (Joe) of Hatboro, Lisa Dickey (David) of Bangor, PA, David Reeves Jr. of Pipersville, PA and the late R. Ellen Reeves. Grandfather of Christopher and Beth Bernert, Emily Betz, Claire Melancon and great grandfather of Allison, Riley Penelope and Jimmie. He is the brother of Janice Gnospelius and the late George Reeves.

Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside services at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Ave. Newtown, PA18940 on Wednesday July 17, 2024 beginning at 11:30 am. Please arrive at the office by 11:20 for the procession.
