Conrad Edwin Schuler a longtime resident of Elkins Park, PA passed away peacefully February 23, 2024 at Rydal Park Retirement Community where he had lived for several years. He was 86 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late C. Harold and Ruth Mae (nee Kauffman) Schuler. Conrad was a graduate of Cheltenham High School and served in the Pennsylvania National Guard from 1954 to 1961. In 1959, Conrad started his floral business, which became his passion for over 60 years. He was well known for his high standards and artistic arrangements by his loyal customers. Over the years, Conrad built relationships with dozens of employees, vendors, and neighbors. He invested in his dedicated staff, guiding them as they navigated life. Conrad was a lifelong Presbyterian and worshiped regularly at Elkins Park Presbyterian Church. Conrad was predeceased by his brother C. Harold Schuler, Jr. He is survived by 3 nieces: Gretchen S. Van Buren of Rydal, PA, Elizabeth S. DiMedio of Haddonfield, NJ and Stephanie B. Flanagan of Washington, DC. Relatives and friends are invited to call on the family Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Elkins Park Presbyterian Church, 234 Cedar Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027 where his funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 am.
