Christopher Lee Kauffman Sr., 68, of Chalfont, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 6, 2026, at Abington Hospital.

Born on March 21, 1958, at Abington Hospital, Christopher spent much of his life in the area and shared more than 40 years of marriage with his wife, Sharon Kauffman, building a life and raising their family together in Chalfont.

Christopher proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1976 to 1980. Following his military service, he spent much of his career as a self-employed contractor. With very little formal training, Christopher was exceptionally skilled and had an incredible ability to figure things out. He could build, fix, and create just about anything, and his resourcefulness and talent were a defining part of who he was.

Christopher was outgoing and full of personality. He loved the Philadelphia Eagles, trucks, Cape May, and listening to music. He was a lifelong lover of rock music, especially Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, and Bruce Springsteen. Some of his favorite moments were spent watching football with his son, Christopher Jr., listening to his favorite songs, and enjoying time at the shore with his family.

Christopher was a tough man who had faced his own challenges in life, but he loved his family fiercely and always did the best he could for them. To his children, he was someone they always knew would be there—a phone call away when they needed him. He leaves behind memories of a complicated, strong-willed, and deeply loving father who made an indelible mark on the lives of those around him.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Sharon; his three children, Christopher Jr., Kayleen (Phil), and Kelsey; and his beloved granddaughter, Kinsley. He is also survived by his many siblings, nieces, and nephews, who will carry his memory with them.

He will be deeply missed, especially by those who will no longer have the comfort of knowing they could simply pick up the phone and call him.

Private funeral services will be held on September 17, 2026.
