Catherine "Cathy" C. Seese, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2024 at the age of 95. Born in Philadelphia to the late Raymond and Elizabeth (nee Quinn) Cunneff, she was the beloved wife of the late John "Jack" Seese Sr.. Cathy graduated from Gwynedd Mercy Academy and Temple University. She was an active member of both Our Lady of Good Counsel and Our Lady Help of Christians Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She created lasting memories and friendships as a longtime member of Huntingdon Valley Country Club, where she enjoyed socializing, spending time with family, and playing both golf and bridge. She was the loving mother of John Seese, Jr., (Blythe), Catherine (Ki) Monnig (the late Richard), the late Sean D. Seese, Lisa Sadowl (Robert), Quinn Collins (Kevin), Stacey Kreisler and Siobhan Scaring (Christopher). Cathy, loving referred to as CC by many was the grandmother of Sean Seese, Brianna Sadowl Hosford, Tierney Sadowl Rowe, Reilly Sadowl, Delaney Sadowl, Casey Collins, Jake Collins, Catherine Collins, Sheahan Collins, Elizabeth Kreisler, John Kreisler, Jr., Seamus Scaring, Eamonn Scaring, Connall Scaring, Quinn Scaring. She was a great grandmother to Stella Seese, Greyson Seese, Grady Hosford, Dwyer Hosford, and Kerrigan Kreisler. Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial Thursday January 11, 2024 at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 1500 Marian Rd. Abington at 11:00 am. The family will receive guests from 10:00 am until Mass time. Int. Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
