Barbara "Bonnie" Venango

Raised on Griscom Street in the Frankford Section of Philadelphia, with her brother Ed and

cousins Helen and Cathleen. A member of Saint Joachim Parish and proud graduate of Little

Flower High School Class of 1964. She enjoyed summer vacations in Wildwood strolling the

boardwalk. Bonnie met the love of her life, Armin, they married and moved to Holmesburg.

Decatur Street is where they welcomed their sons Andrew and Michael. Bonnie loved working

at Saint Dominic's School, keeping a close eye on the boys and their friends. Friday nights were

spent bowling with her girlfriends and weekends you could find her on the sidelines watching

Andy and Michael play on the baseball and football fields. Bonnie's heart grew even more with

her grandbabies or as she called them "lovies" were born. So much so, her and Arm moved from

Decatur Street to Abington Township in 2012. The remaining years of her life were spent

enjoying her children and grandchildren. After a hard fought battle, she passed away peacefully,

surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
