Morris Levin, known as Moe, was born on January 13, 1925 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to first generation immigrants, Jacob and Freda Levin. Moe was one of three siblings. His Sister Eleanor Laden was six years older, and his Brother Harry Levin was three years his younger. After graduating High School, Moe was inducted into the United States Navy to serve his country in World War Two. While in the Navy, he advanced to becoming a radar instructor. In 1946 Moe was honorably discharged from the service. Due to his service in the Navy, Moe was able to attend college under the GI bill. After four years at Temple University Moe started his career as an Electrical Engineer. In 1952 Moe was married to Ruth Sheinman. Moe and his wife Ruth began their lives together in Philadelphia PA. In 1957 they moved to Abington Pennsylvania. There they raised their two children, Aaron Levin, and Florence Bowman, who later gave them two wonderful Grandchildren, Kyle Kuser and Adam Levin. In 1965 Moe and three of his friends started Microcom Corporation in Warminster PA. Moe enjoyed his family, spending time at his Mom’s, Sister’s, Brother Harry’s, and Daughter’s homes. As for hobbies, Moe enjoyed reading, music, watching comedies, taking long walks, and working in his yard. In 2010, Moe tragically lost his 52-year-old Son, Aaron to kidney cancer. In 2011, Moe also lost his wife, Ruth. In 2016, after being diagnosed with Macular Degeneration, and not being able to drive anymore, Moe moved from his lifelong home in Abington PA to Sunrise of Abington PA. In 2018, Moe moved to Solana of Doylestown PA, in their independent living section. He enjoyed interacting with both the residents and workers in both facilities, eating good food, taking walks and movies. On October 8, at 12:40 am, while he peacefully slept, Morris Levin left this world. The cause of death was Lung Cancer. He did not suffer long with the lung cancer, for he died only two weeks after his diagnoses. Moe leaves behind his daughter, Florence Bowman, his Sister-In-Law, Delores Levin, two Nieces, Nadine Levine and Harriette Bashi, a Nephew, David Laden, two grandsons, Kyle Kuser and Adam Levin, two step Granddaughters, Ashley Hannawalt, and Rachelle McKinney, and one step Grandson Ryan Hannawalt.
