Obituary for Jacquelyn Yvonne Swan Feather Dougans, EdD
Jacquelyn Yvonne Swann Feather Dougans, Ed,D passed away December 4, 2021 at Spring House Estates in Lower Gwynedd, PA at the age of 88. Born in Philadelphia to the late Arthur and Helyn (nee Gould) Dougans, she was a proud member of the Piscataway Tribe of the Algonquin Nation. Jacuelyn earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Immaculata University and Doctorate in education from Temple University. She was a Teacher and Elementary School Principal for 36 years in the School District of Philadelphia. An avid reader, she was also a member of the Red Hatters Club and a past member of Citizens of Wyndmoor Women’s Club.
Jacquelyn is survived by her loving son Brian A. Swan on Water Dougans and his wife Rhonda. She is the beloved grandmother of Brooke and Brynn Dougans and Shawn Leach. She is survived by her cousins; Paula, Denny, David, Trina, Laurie, Kevin and Daniel Dow.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday December 10, 2021 10:00 am at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church 1325 Upper State Rd. North Wales, PA 19454 where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
