Obituary for Elizabeth A. Krimmel

Elizabeth Ann Krimmel (Betty) was a 40 year resident of Lawndale, Philadelphia. She was a member of St. William’s Church for 40 years as well. Betty loved gardening, going to the Jersey shore as well as winning the big bucks at the Casinos. She also loved The Big Bang Theory and Tall Dark and Handsome - Tom Selleck in Blue Bloods. She loved her Chocolate, Black Licorice, and Breyers Coffee Ice Cream.
She enjoyed most spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Betty found joy in all of her careers because they all involved people. She most enjoyed her
position of Executive Vice President of Flourtown Chiropractic and Wellness Center for 18 years. She worked with her daughter Dr. Elizabeth Ann (Beth Ann) and enjoyed working with hundreds of patients throughout the years. She certainly loved going to dine especially at the Country Club Diner. Where her favorite meal consisted of their homemade crab cakes, stewed tomatoes, macaroni and cheese and best of all the homemade Vanilla layer cake.
Betty was a lifelong lover of all of her dogs, cats, birds, fish and rabbits. Her most recent favorite feline was her “Grandkitty” a rescue found in Horsham, Pa named Frankie. She bottle fed him at 3 weeks old during her working hours as an office manager with her daughter. Frankie was her bodyguard in her later years and helped her most during her last chapter of life. As a result of her love of animals one of her nicknames was” Betty Big Dog”. Her longer known nickname was “Betty Boop”. Her most beloved nickname was Grandmom Betty.
She enjoyed getting her nails done later in her life since her workload changed and they would not chip on her (Compliments of Sharon).
You always knew when Betty was losing patience with you because of her unique habit of speaking thru her closed teeth. We all always knew what that meant.
She was blessed in her last chapter of life with her personal caretakers Antoinette(Toni) and Mary T. who both served her well. We would like you to know that Mom had her last taste of chocolate (her favorite) right before she drifted off to her eternal rest.
Elizabeth Ann Krimmel (Betty) is survived by her family who she loved dearly. Her children: Bob(Linda), Ray, Beth Ann, Ed, Matt, Bill and Mary. Her grandchildren: Jason, Kirsten(Frank), Andrew, Danielle(Russ), Matthew, Laura(Jim), Cody, Edward, and Tina.
Her great grandchildren: Julia, Greta, Graeden, and her newest Caroline.
Betty was a wonderful Mom, mentor, friend, and second Mom to countless others known and unknown.
