Obituary for Dorothy A. "Dot" Clinton

CLINTON, DOROTHY A (SHAW)

Dorothy Clinton passed away on January 24th at her home in Meadowbrook,
Pa, after a long illness with Alzheimer’s.  Dot, as she was known by her
friends, was a talented singer who performed with the Our Lady Help of
Christians Choir and as a vocalist for weddings and funerals at OLHC,
Christ The King and many other churches around Philadelphia.  Dot spent
much of her life volunteering for her church and community, organizing
and running fundraising events. She served as president of the McDevitt
Mothers Club and vice-president of the LaSalle Mothers Club. She is
survived by her husband of 54 years William Clinton.  She was
predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Annetta Shaw and her sister Mary
Heilig (Ken).  She is survived by her children William Clinton Jr,
Robert Clinton (Young-Yi) and Dorothy Clinton, her 3 grandchildren Brian
Clinton, Brett Clinton and Jack Clinton, and her brother Kenneth Shaw Jr
(Betty). Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass Monday January 31, 10:00 am at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 1500 Marian Rd. Abington where family will receive visitors from 9:00 am until Mass time, Interment Forest Hills Cemetery.
