Obituary for Bruce J. Martin III
Bruce James Martin III of Abington, PA passed away suddenly on June 29th, 2022. He was born on December 24th, 1995.
He is survived by his parents, Margaret and Bruce Martin II, sisters, Kathlyn (Malik) Mitchell, and Erin Martin, Grandmom, Margaret Garberina and girlfriend, Bianca Capece. He is also survived by his niece, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.
Bruce graduated from Abington High School and Eastern Center for Arts and Technology. He was a skilled and talented craftsman in many trades, especially electrical and bathroom remodeling and was mentored by his father over the years.
When not working, Bruce could be found enjoying the outdoors including: fishing, crabbing, riding his dirt bike and motorcycle, skateboarding, scootering, and walking in Pennypack Park. Bruce loved to enjoy time with his family and girlfriend each summer at Stone Harbor, NJ, and trips to Knoebels, Outerbanks, NC, Lake Harmony, California and Walt Disney World for the Food and Wine Festival.
Bruce had the gift of coming into a room and lighting it up with his smile, laugh and sense of humor. He was always there to protect, support, comfort and help whenever needed. He was our caretaker; sensitive, loving, thoughtful and generous. He is now our guardian angel.
To commemorate Bruce’s life, the family is starting a scholarship in his name at Eastern Center for Arts and Technology for graduating from Abington or Upper Moreland High Schools. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask you to consider making a donation to the scholarship.
