Condolence: I still haven't forgotten you. You helped define an important time in my life. You helped show me a way forward. You'll live forever in my company, every time I hear an old song you remixed and covered. "A good song never dies. It just reminds you of where you were, the first time it made you cry, the first time you felt alive." I'll be a king. Thank you.

Condolence: Though I never met Evan I've listened to his music for the better part of my life, and have taken great inspiration and value from the words he spoke. He put me on trajectory to self discovery and expression through music and he will be greatly missed. He was the first artist to truly capture my attention and directed my true passion of music. Rest easy Evan "Still a Wallace in the afterlife Music lives on, never gone, no half life"

Condolence: Written Thursday was a really, really important album in my life. it hurts me to think that e-dubble is no longer with us, and I remember seeing his awesome parents and family at a show at the 8x10 in Baltimore in 2013. Now I'm old...and a dad...and I wanted to say thank you to Evan and his family, because his music made a huge difference in my life. i don't think I'd be old and a dad without Written Thursday.

Condolence: Rest in peace, Evan. There are no combination of words I could ever find to express how much I miss you, and how much you influenced me while you walked this planet, but if there was a combination, I'm sure you could find it in an instant. The way you navigated words was godlike, your freestyles were insane. I still listen to your freestyles nearly everyday. Today marks 5 years since you passed on. Your presence while I was in middle school, years back, listening to Freestyle Friday every Friday helped me through everything. Your spirit lives on in your verses and you're remembered from Camden Yards to Hampden Parks and beyond.

Condolence: Rest in Peace Mr. Wallace. You continue to influence the world and influence me in great ways. If your spirit lives in your music, I would like to imagine as I listen to your voice, you are watching me and seeing that you are still remembered more than 5 years later. You will never die to the people that continue to celebrate your life. All I can say in the end, is a simple Thank you. Much love, Nicholas.

Condolence: No one has left such a massive and important impression on my life but Evan. He's blessed every one of us in his own way. Words cannot explain the reality and importance of the message he conveyed to each and every one of us through his life. Sending lots of love to his family and friends, and listeners, from the United Kingdom, and a reminder to remember how he would want us to feel when listening and learning of his legacy. \edubhiphop forever

Condolence: Evan Wallace, I may not have known him personally but he has changed parts of my life with music alone. He has gotten me through doubt and sorrow four years ago, and his music still brings me joy even through death. He is more than just music, but I will sadly never get to know that life of his, all that I can know him from is his music, and that alone is a blessing. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: Dear Wallace Family, I want to leave my greatest condolences here. Evan has inspired many, and is continuing that trend. His music makes me want to get up and do something with my life. There was a time in my life when I was in a pit, and felt like sadness was normal. His music gave me the strength to get out of a trance, and pick myself up. Evan is by far, my favorite artist, and will continue to be. Evan will always be remembered, but never forgotten. The King will live on in our hearts. Rest in Peace to the one and only

Condolence: There isn't a day that goes by that I don't listen to at least one song of his. He helped me through highschool and breakups and tragedies, but he also was the background to some road trips and some get togethers. He will never fit in a single category or label, and he will never be what we expected him to be. Because he's better than that. And he always will be. Your words will stay with me for eternity, King. I'll see you when I see you.

Condolence: I discovered E-dubble from youtube montages and ever since then I've listened to his music over and over again. His lyrics were unmatched and as many have mentioned before me, he should have been MONSTROUSLY bigger than he became but that doesn't take away from his mastery of his art. He will NOT be forgotten, by me, nor by many more than me. He was an amazing rapper and from what I gather, an even more amazing person. I live in Canada and never got a chance to see him live even though I checked often to see if he happened to be touring up north here. Rest in peace Evan. Your influence on me is not lost.

Condolence: He was my favorite rapper. He brought me joy in times of sorrow, hope in times of doubt and inspiration in times of uncertainty. He did this though his music. Even though I never met him, he seamed like a genuinely fantastic person. I was so saddened by his passing all those months ago. He will never truly die as long as his music is still being heard by his fans. He was the King and he will never be forgotten by the ones who loved his work.

Condolence: I was just informed about the passing of Evan Wallace, I never got the chance to meet him or even see him in concert but I had been a fan for a great number of years when I was younger. I stopped listening to his music for some time and now listening to it again is so nostalgic and makes me feel sad about his passing, but on the other hand brings a sense of joy knowing that his music which is essentially a piece of him will be around forever.

Condolence From: Todd Davis
Condolence: I learned of Evan's death about a week after he passed. However, I just found this website. I can't believe this legend has passed. I discovered his music about three years back from a classmate. After hearing 'It's in the Bag' I couldn't stop listening to his music. It or me through some difficult times. I also regret not purchasing his 'Hip-Hop is Good' album, or any album for the matter. I wish I could have got the chance to meet and thank Evan for all that he has done for me. Knowing how his death affected myself, I can't begin to comprehend how it is affecting his family. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Rest In Peace Evan Sewell Wallace. Your life was too short. Sincerely, Todd Davis.

Condolence From: Flynn Essex
Condolence: I'm currently just a kid in high school, and it's when I actually heard the news about Evan's death that I started to listen to his music which is unfortunate. I wish i could have listened to Evan when he was alive and have had a chance to meet him or at least go to a concert of his, it's odd to listen to his music when he was alive and just think about how Evan won't be able to create anymore of his art or anything else. While Evan died far too young, he managed to leave his mark on the world and millions within it. Rest in Peace E Dubble and Evan Sewell Wallace, along with my condolences to the Wallace family. -Flynn

Condolence From: Brian
Condolence: I only recently learned of Evan's passing and I am sorry to hear about it. I am from Glenside and actually attended school in Baltimore at the same time Evan was going to school down there. During that time I had the chance to meet him after a few shows in the Baltimore and share a beer or two after his sets. While we were only acquaintances; we'd joke about the Phils, Birds, how Maryland compared to 'back home', etc. Even though our exchanges were casual and only lasted 15-30 minutes - he was approachable and good natured. It was nice to see a friendly, relatable face that was humble enough to have a beer with a fan/stranger at the bar. To his family and Evan himself, even this small exchange left enough of a mark on me that I wanted share. He seemed like a great guy and I am truly sorry to hear of his passing.

Condolence: Evan was a star in a sky full of darkness. But when a star stops shining as bright as his did, you can know he helped create another star just as bright. I have listened to him for years. He was my greatest role model I have ever seen. I missed his concerts twice. His music inspired millions to be what they want. Evan will forever be in my heart and mind forever. Sincerely, Christian Lufkin

Hearing of the passing of my all time favourite artist E-Dubble, who's songs I still listen to daily has hit me, I had dreamed of going to America to meet him but obviously this won't happen, hopefully one day I go to visit America and visit his memorial if there is one. 34 is too young to die, life isn't fair. Condolence: I am extremely saddened by 'edubble' dead I remember when I was 15 and listened to his music for hours I had my PC with lyrics and my Xbox playing Mw3 on the other side of the bed. It didn't stopped there I became Evans fan, I am 19 now and he is my go to when I just want to escape, his simplicity and the joy that he transmitted through every song is unique, I am glad and I certainly do believe he had a happy live surrounded by people that genuinely loved him even dough I never had the honor to meet him. He will forever have a space in my life, the times I fell asleep with his music, when I driver around the block to calm myself with edub playing, when I had my pre game playlist filled of him. He is and will be my favorite artist

Condolence: My thoughts are with the friends and family of Evan. I was saddened the day I heard the news, and I still can't believe he's gone so soon. I only knew him as E-dub, and as a rock music guy, I can honestly say that E-dub had a style that made me enjoy hip hop music like I never have. I have been, and will continue to be a fan of E-dub. I hope the friends of family of Evan find some comfort in knowing how many people he's helped with music, and he was quite frankly a lyrical genius. He left an amazing legacy of work behind, and I'll be sure to keep hitting that repeat button. Rest easy E-dub, you're a king.

All of his positivity shined through in every lyric he sang and if I'm ever down all I have to do is just push play :) I am very greatful that his music will last forever. E-dubble was such a positive part of my life that I wear his name tattooed on my arm and my car wears it on the license plates. I will never stop sharing his music with my family and friends because Evan made this world a better place with his words and cheery attitude. Make them all dance up in heaven big man! I would say rest in peace but I already know that your great soul will live forever.

Condolence: Honestly loved his music and hope more people will hear some of it. As a person who mostly listened to modern rock he made me love hip hop with his spin on things. Always got excited to see him post a new song on Twitter of his Freestyle Friday's. He was taken too soon from this world but he will live on through the music he left for us. To those in his friends and family my condolences and prayers go out to you. RIP E -Dub

Condolence: Evan gave many people, including me, a chance to start over, or as he would say, Reset. His music provided means to many people's lives in such a short time. His small but enthused community always looked forward to his next release and would always support him. Evan shaped my life into what I am now, which is insane for someone I never met face to face. My condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.

He has touched the lives of millions of people through his music, and will continue to live on in all of us for many, many years to come. His talent was unprecedented, and we thank him for sharing it with us, all these years. Rest in peace Evan. You will never be forgotten, sir.

Condolence: Evan, or as I knew him, E-Dubble, was such an amazing artist and his music was stuff I was so proud to show to others. He was a bigger influence on my life than he knew, but you guys should be so proud of what he accomplished. I will always remember and cherish his music, and I send my deepest condolences to his family. You guys are in my thoughts and I know it doesn't mean much coming from somebody random. But Evan had a big impact on a lot of people's lives, and that will never go away.

Condolence: RIP to one of the legends of the underground rap community. The Freestyle-Friday series helped me out of a serious depression, one that came close to taking my life more than once. It gave me something to look forward to every week, a reason to keep on keeping on. His passing will be greatly mourned, not only by me but by a whole era of people.

Condolence: I am so, so sorry. I give my deepest condolences to the Wallace family and everyone at Black Paisley records. I was devastated when I heard Evan had passed. I'm still struggling to grasp the reality of what has happened. He had no idea whatsoever, but through his music, Evan saved me from committing suicide six years ago. I was on the verge of ending it when "Changed my Mind" came on. "I went to sleep, and I woke up dead, but I changed my mind, and I want to Live. . ." Ever since then, he has been one of the biggest influences on my life. He influenced me to make smarter choices, cut the negative aspects out of my life, work hard, and not take anything for granted. He passed away far too early, and I think the news came as a shock to everyone. I haven't known what to do with myself this last week, listening to all of his works, knowing that he's actually gone, but I will make sure his legacy lives on and his music continues to be listened to for years to come. Thank you. -Tuck Barks
