Condolence: Though I never met Evan I've listened to his music for the better part of my life, and have taken great inspiration and value from the words he spoke. He put me on trajectory to self discovery and expression through music and he will be greatly missed. He was the first artist to truly capture my attention and directed my true passion of music.

Condolence: Written Thursday was a really, really important album in my life. it hurts me to think that e-dubble is no longer with us, and I remember seeing his awesome parents and family at a show at the 8x10 in Baltimore in 2013.

Now I'm old...and a dad...and I wanted to say thank you to Evan and his family, because his music made a huge difference in my life. i don't think I'd be old and a dad without Written Thursday.

The way you navigated words was godlike, your freestyles were insane. I still listen to your freestyles nearly everyday. Today marks 5 years since you passed on. Your presence while I was in middle school, years back, listening to Freestyle Friday every Friday helped me through everything. Your spirit lives on in your verses and you're remembered from Camden Yards to Hampden Parks and beyond.
