Obituary for Ronald P. Moser

Ronald P. Moser, 57, of Oreland, died suddenly from a heart attack on Monday, Aug. 4.

Mr. Moser was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Abington. He attended La Salle College High School and graduated from Temple University’s School of Communications and Theater in 1980. He worked in publishing and marketing, with positions at TVSM, Lapidary Journal and F.A. Davis Company.

He met his wife of 26 years, Penny Kline, in 1986, at a Phillies game where the two had season ticket seats next to each other. They married in 1988 and had a daughter, Erica Moser, in 1993.

An enduring love of music manifested itself in his expansive record collection, frequent concert-going, and volunteer work with the Philadelphia Folksong Society and the Keswick Theatre. Mr. Moser also loved traveling, particularly to national parks.

Besides his wife and daughter, he is survived by parents Paul and Nancy Moser; sisters Barbara White (Lawrence), Catherine Foster, Janice Lupas (Andrei) and Theresa Dolan (Andrew); and 16 nieces and nephews.
