BARRETT, John J. “Jack”, June 13, 2014, he was 78. A longtime resident of Abington, he was a 1953 graduate of LaSalle College High School and the Wharton School at University of PA. Husband of Diane (nee Lee) Barrett, he is the father of Mike (Carny), Beth Mallon (Jamie), Tom (Terry) and the late John J. Barrett. Step father of Jennifer Stanton (Jim), Stephanie Meyer (Jim Connell), Brent Meyer, Jr. (Talia) and Matt Meyer (Mandy). Grandfather of 21 he is also the former husband of Jo Claire Barrett. The family will receive friends Thursday 10:30 to 12:00 at North Hills Country Club, 99 Station Ave. Glenside, PA followed by a reception at Noon.
